Unaided minority schools do not come under
the ambit of RTE Act.
BOMBAY HC ORDER
Unaided minority schools, which do not get direct monetary or salary grant aid from the government, do not come under the ambit of RTE Act that requires them to reserve 25% seats for students from economically weak families
A division bench of Justices Abhay Oka and Revati Dere said that concessions on taxes and land at concessional rates from government do not mean that these institutions fall in the category of aided schools.
